  The chemical industry has great potential for production integration. For example, in coal processing, oil, gas, shale, peat, energy chemical plants are built simultaneously with the production of energy, as well as valuable chemical products (gasoline, paraffin) for their industrial use.
  The chemical industry has a very high raw material base: it uses various minerals, wood, water, air and related waste as raw materials. However, the main raw material of this industry remains oil refining and coal coking waste, that is, specially prepared waste.

  The production of cotton fiber, cotton and silk fabrics, raw silk, kenaf fiber, clothing and footwear, carpets and haberdashery products is well developed in Uzbekistan. Currently, with the support of foreign companies, spinning and textile enterprises are being established in our country, which allows to increase the level of processing of raw materials. The largest enterprises of the industry are Tashkent and Fergana textile factories, Bukhara cotton factory.
  The main centers of production of silk raw materials and silk fabrics are located in Fergana, Namangan and Bukhara regions. The production of carpets and non-woven materials has been launched in Namangan region and Khiva. The tanning industry is most developed in Tashkent, Samarkand, Kokan and Bukhara.
